Michael Weppler

Mike has a passion for enabling the development of diverse, emerging leaders, especially in the midst of high-impact opportunities. He currently works in recruiting and retention, while also continuing to cultivate a portfolio life as a strategy consultant, writer, training facilitator, and leadership coach.

Previously, Mike worked in financial services for ten years, and more recently in strategy and operations for a nonprofit focused on equity and diversity. During this time, he also launched two small businesses, and served as a mentor and facilitator in church and community spaces. Mike has earned Master’s degrees in business management from the University of Notre Dame and in International Relations from IE University, a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Miami University, and has completed supplemental coursework at Sciences Po and the Harvard Kennedy School. He has been mentored by 3 executives, participated in multiple leadership programs, and is a certified talent optimization consultant with The Predictive Index.

As a coach, Mike’s philosophy is rooted in self-awareness, facilitated self-guidance, and developing deep roots in faith and character-and-competence based leadership. He regularly supports efforts in racial equity, care for unaccompanied or fatherless children, and political collaboration. Mike lives in the U.S. with his wife Carolina and son Caleb, with whom he loves exploring the world through travel, reading, and food!
